The second son of Peter and Gabriel Chorster Everetts Family had owned and ran silver mines for six generations, expanding into iron and silversmithing, the family has good relationships with dwarfs and in partnership with a small clan has recently reopened a bloodstone mine in hope people will buy it once more.
As the second oldest son it was his duty to become a paladin from a young age he joined the Order of the Golden Cup and after only a year training with them he left, Everett felt restricted by the orders code, he left and said goodbye to his life of luxury to find his calling out in the world with Reily.
Since childhood Everett had one close friend and companion, Reily Blackblade, an orphan that the Chorster family took in and had trained with their house guards, known as the Blackblades. Everett and Reily are as close as brothers they have always traveled together.
They traveled through dwarf and human regions mostly before he eventually met a group called the Red Knights of Freedom, they were Paladins who fought against tyranny and for personal liberty, they were warriors and commanders of armies great and small. The knights took him all over Fearun helping those in need, taking young Everett under their wing and training him. The Paladins were from Tethyr, and they spent a great deal of time there training but Everett later left to find his own way.
Everett soon helped form a mercenary company with some friends he had made during his travels The Grey Hand.
After the Grey Hand was disbanded and the new Guild of the Grey Hand was formed Everett could hand off the management and business of the group to his long time friend Ovif Vonral. Everett is glad to be focused on his own training in both divine magic and combat prowess, along with his talkative sword “Shapeshifter” he leads and trains those members of the Grey Hand who strive to embody the ultimate duality, a lethal combination of magical ability with honed martial skills.
